A: If your cake is a house-designed cake, we have lots available in the case, ready to go, everyday. If you are asking for a custom design, it is best to order in advance. 10-14 days in advance is appreciated.

A: We have many flavors of cake that we have developed over time, cakes that we know are tried and true. If you are hoping for a special flavor, or combination, feel free to ask. We love to experiment, and will accommodate special requests whenever possible. However, there may be additional charges for unique orders.

A: we have many items that are gluten free: muffins, cakes, desserts. Ask a server, they will guide you through our selection. At this time we have one muffin that is also vegan: our Apple Walnut Muffin.

A: We are a counter service style restaurant…when you arrive you should find a menu, order, then find a seat. When your food is ready, we will bring it out to you and take care of you from there.

A: We have 60 seats inside and 60 seats outside. We have a great outside patio!

A: As long as they are well behaved, we allow dogs on the patio. However, please approach the patio from the outside; never walk your dog through the restaurant. We do not allow dogs inside the restaurant.

A: At the time that Karen started the business her children were mid-size, so she declared Sundays a dedicated family day. Now that the kids are grown and gone, she still has a husband she likes a lot, hence we are still closed on Sundays. Truth is, being closed on Sundays has created a true family culture within the KBC staff, as everyone treasures their Sundays off.
